The mission of the Warriors Path Volunteer Fire Department is to protect those living, working, and traveling to
our community. We strive to accomplish this mission through training, education, and dedication to the protection
of our membership and the community.
Your support helps keep our crews protected and our apparatus ready to respond—so help is there when it matters
most.
What Happens If Local Fire & EMS
Isn’t Ready?
Most people don’t think about emergency response—until the day they need it.
When gear wears out, trucks age, or one-time funding dries up, readiness can slip.
That can mean slower help and higher risk for the people who respond.
A Local Department Built
on Service and Readiness
Warriors Path Volunteer Fire Department has served this community since 1974.
In 2024, we answered over 1,700 calls, including over 1,200 medical responses.
We have 25 active senior volunteer members and 1 junior firefighter.
Our station is also supported by 3 paid emergency medical responders who staff the station
24/7.
We live here. We work here. And when you call 9-1-1, we show up.
Your Donation Keeps Responders
Protected
Donations help us ensure our firefighters are properly equipped to do the job
safely.
Your Donation Keeps Our Apparatus
Ready
Our apparatus require regular inspection, testing, maintenance, and replacement to ensure their continued
safe operation.
Your support helps us prepare now, so we can stay reliable for the next call.
Why Donations Matter Right Now
In 2025, about 60% of our funding comes from as a donation from the Sullivan County Commission.
Donations from residents and businesses make up about 18.5%.
Grants helped this year too, but those funds are one-time and not expected every year.
Your gift helps cover the gaps and keeps our community protected.
